“At ‘Liberty,’ the original purpose of the building has been turned on its head – here, freedom and friendship now go hand in hand, perfectly in keeping with the Rotary ideal; it couldn’t be more fitting,” said Labianca. This also explains the new club name: RC Ortenau-Liberty. Behind the former prison walls, meetings will now be held in a relaxed atmosphere.
